This training package covers the essentials of handgun ownership. Perfect for new or prospective handgun owners who want to feel completely confident, safe, and informed.

The course is approximately 3 hours long.

Handgun Basics - $60/person

  • Universal safety rules

  • Handgun types: semi-auto pistol vs revolver

  • Handgun calibers and ammunition

  • Handgun loading and unloading

  • How to check if handgun is loaded

  • Proper handgun handling and grip

  • Shooting mechanics and stances

  • Proper attire and gear

  • Dealing with malfunctions

  • Dry-Firing safety and exercises

No live firing! No real ammo!

Perfect for novices who have never handled a handgun before!

If you have your own handgun, I will walk you through your your firearm.

If you don't own a handgun, I will provide handguns for the demonstrations.

This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to confidently and independently visit a gun range, purchase their own handguns, build a foundation in basic self-defense, and grow in the shooting sport.

This course is approximately 1.5 hours long.
